This simple and vibrant fruit salad is a refreshing way to enjoy seasonal fruits. Perfect for a quick snack, dessert, or as a side dish for BBQs and picnics!
Ingredients:
2 cups watermelon, cubed
2 cups pineapple, cubed
1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
1 cup blueberries
1 cup green grapes, halved
2 kiwifruits, peeled and sliced
1 orange, peeled and segmented
1-2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped (optional)
For the Dressing:
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp lime or lemon juice
1 tsp orange zest
Method:
Prepare the Fruits: Wash, peel, and cut all the fruits into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the Dressing:In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime or lemon juice, and orange zest.
Combine and Toss: In a large mixing bowl, combine all the fruits. Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and toss gently to coat evenly.
Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld together. Garnish with fresh mint just before serving.
